Senator Johnson bill would change that
Disgraced former Roslyn School District Superintendent Frank Tassone receives a $174,035 annual pension, the 33rd largest among educators in the state, according to SeeThroughNY.net data posted Wednesday. (Read the report here)
State Sen. Craig Johnson is publicizing the finding to promote his bill to cut off pensions of public officials convicted of corruption. Fellow Nassau County legislator Charles Lavine is carrying the bill in the Assembly. Roslyn administrators stole $11 million from their district.
